The city is undertaking the design of a new library to replace the cramped main library on Broadway.
The main topics were:
- Community Activity Center
- Community Information Center
- Formal Education Support Center
- Independent Learning Center
- Popular Materials Lending Library
- Preschoolers Door to Learning
- Reference Library
- Lots of other ideas were floated.
After this meeting Mark attended several city-wide meetings. Dropped out because the pace was extremely slow and bureaucratic. The consultants had a process and stuck to it.
