Mark promoted to VP Customer Service for IPD Augat

Frank Angelis, Group VP for the Interconnection Products Division of Augat consolidated three divisions’ customer service operations into one location. poor planning and bad leadership produced  mess. You could call to place an order at 1pm on a work day and be on hold for 20 to 30 minutes. Three computer systems were in use to manage orders. the sales correspondents and managers did not know the products. Mayhem. Based on the superior customer service at Alcoswitch Mark was brought down to N. Attleboro to straighten things out. Six months later the outside sales force was giving high fives for the results.
